Ordering eBooks

Once your OverDrive App is set up, orderting & downloading eBooks is easy.  Tap on your OverDrive Icon

Iphone/Ipad

  • tap on "Get Books"
  • tap on the "TRAC - The Regional Consortium"
  • tap on "Login"   This will log you into your library account, just as you do in TRAC
  • from the top menu bar, you can now choose-home, search, browse.  icons work the same as the ones in TRAC.
    •  "Browse" will take you to where you can choose items by type (audio or ePub) or by genre type (this will be a mixed ePbu & auido list
    • "Search" will pull up a box you can type keywords
    • "Home" will get you to the home page which will have the top/new to collection items.  This will be a shorter list.
  • items available for immediate download will say "Add to Bookbag", if they are not in you can "Place Request".  

This process works the same as downloading items into your computer for use in the older eReaders, just the screen size & artwork may have changed-the rest of the principles apply.  Step by Step Presentation is available on this web site under "OverDrive"

  • tap on the "middle icon" at the bottom of the page (3 horizontal lines)
  • tap on "Get Books"
