Pulitzer Prize
The Pulitzer Prize has been awarded by Columbia University since 1917. The awards are given on the recommendations of a board of jurors for Journalism, Letters, Music and Drama. The awards for Letters include Fiction, listed here, Non-fiction, Poetry, Biography or Autobiography, and History.

Commonwealth Writers' Prize is organised and funded by the Commonwealth Foundation. It was first awarded in 1987. The Commonwealth Foundation is an intergovernmental organisation working in the 53 countries of the Commonwealth of Nations. The aim of this book award is to encourage new Commonwealth fiction, and to ensure that works of merit reach a wider audience outside their country of origin
Young Adult Canadian Book Award
An annual Young Adult Canadian Book Award, sponsored by the Canadian Library Association (CLA) recognizes an author of an outstanding English language Canadian book which appeals to young adults between the ages of 13 and 18

Sign Up for Lego Block Party!
Lego Block Party Dates are finalized for this month, click on the Date to sign up. Space is limited, registrants will receive a comfirmation call from the library.

We are still looking for donations of Lego Blocks to be used for a new program. If you have any Lego that you children have outgrown, we would love to put it to good use! Lego in good condition can be dropped off at the Library during open hours. If your Lego is still in use, we'd welcome a cash donation or donation of new Lego.
